Clinic Consultations

Essendon - Toorak - Heidelberg - Greensborough
Clinic Consultations are avaialble in Essendon, Toorak and Heidleberg, Victoria and through Greeensborough Nutrition in Greensborough Victoria. Sessions are designed for individuals or you can bring along a partner or friend. Consultations are encouraged for clients with the following nutrition concerns or those just wanting some general nutrition advice:

  • obesity & weight loss
  • food allergies & intolerances
  • fructose malabsorption
  • the low FODMAP diet
  • coeliac disease
  • digestion issues
  • undernutrition & frailty
  • vegetarian & vegan diets
  • diabetes
  • heart health
​Fees
Initial Consultation (45-60mins) $95-125
Review Consultation (20-30mins) $75-85

Patients with Choinic Disease Management Plan Referrals (care plans) will be required to pay full fee at time of consultation and are eligible to a rebate of $54.60 for up to 5 sessions per year with a valid referral.

Cancellation Policy

Please note that cancellations within 24hours will incur a $50 cancellation fee. We understand that at times things come up and appointments need to be changed but we appreciate advanced notice so that your unwanted appointment time can be offered to another client and that the dietitian does not get left wondering if you are able to attend your allocated appointment.

Referrals

If you have complex health condition(s), shared care with your GP or medical specialist is encouraged therefore a referral or letter from your doctor, detailing your current medical conditions and treatments is appreciated. If you have a referral please fax through to The Food Clinic on 03 9111 0136 prior to your appointment. However you are also welcome to attend the clinic as a private patient, therefore not requiring a referral.
